Picture yourself quietly gliding through the water on a beautiful sunny day, not another person in sight and only the sound of the wind rustling through the trees and the waves splashing against the shore breaking the tranquil silence. You spot a bald eagle soaring above and a moose bathing in the shallows.
Red Lake is proud to be known as the Norseman Capital of the World. The title shows respect for the Noorduyn Norseman, the "Original Canadian Bushplane". This vintage aircraft was the first one designed for flying in Canada's north and included many "firsts" in airplane design.
